Join us for Downtown Texarkana Day!
Friday, August 13, 2010
9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The summer is ending, but the fun isn't over! Join the Texarkana Museums System, Texarkana Public Library, Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council, Four States Auto Museum and Merfeld's Bread Company for a day of fun in downtown Texarkana. Purchase a ticket at the Museum of Regional History and collect stickers at participating sites. At the end of the day, turn your ticket in at Merfeld's for a 10% discount off of any one item. Coupon good August 13 only, so be sure to stop by!

In between, take time to visit the Arts Park, Kidtopia and the Scott Joplin Mural. Don't forget to get a picture on the photographer's island in front of the Post Office with one foot in each state! For tickets or more information, call TMS at 903-793-4831.
How to Find the TMS Museums
All three museum buildings are within walking distance of one another and easily accessible from the major highways and the interstate. Locally, we are two blocks from the downtown bus stop and easily visible from State Line Avenue.
