Getting Here

The facilities of the Texarkana Museums System are located in the heart of Downtown Texarkana.  Free two-hour parking is available at each building.

Getting here from Little Rock or Dallas

From I-30 take the State Line Exit and head south towards downtown (approximately 3 miles).

Follow State Line Avenue around the post office.

To go to the Ace of Clubs House (420 Pine Street), take the first right past the post office on West 5th Street.  Go one block west.  The house is located on your left on the corner of West 5th and Pine Streets.  The entrance gate is on West 5th Street.

To go to the Discovery Place Children's Museum (215 Pine Street), continue past the post office on State Line Avenue to West 4th Street and turn right.  Go one block and take a left on Pine Street.  Go one block to 3rd and Pine Streets.  Discovery Place is on the right just past the intersection of  3rd and Pine Streets.

To go to the Museum of Regional History (219 State Line Avenue), continue past the post office on State Line Avenue.  Go two blocks to 3rd Street.  The Museum of Regional History is on the right at the intersection of State Line Avenue and 3rd Street.

Getting here from Shreveport

Take Highway 71 North into Texarkana.  Turn left on 4th Street two blocks past the Highway 71 overpass.

To go to the Ace of Clubs House (420 Pine Street), continue on 4th Street across State Line Avenue.  Go 1 block to Pine Street and turn right.  The house is on the right at the corner of West 5th and Pine Streets.  The entrance gate is on West 5th Street.

To go to the Discovery Place Children's Museum (215 Pine Street), continue on 4th Street across State Line Avenue.  Go 1 block to Pine Street and turn left.  Go 1 block to West 3rd Street.  Discovery Place is located on the right just past the intersection of 3rd and Pine Streets.

To go to the Museum of Regional History (219 State Line Avenue), continue on 4th Street to State Line Avenue.  Turn left and go 1 block to West 3rd Street.  The Museum is located on the right just past the intersection of State Line Avenue and 3rd Street.

Getting here from North Arkansas

Take Highway 71 South into Texarkana.  Continue on Highway 71 South (which becomes State Line Avenue at I-30) past the intersection of I-30 and State Line Avenue.  From that point follow directions given above for getting here from Dallas and Little Rock.
