Text Box: Discovery Place Children's Museum is a unique place for your special event.  Ideal for corporate parties and family or school reunions as well as club meetings and seminars. Kid’s will love having their birthday party at Discovery Place! Let us help make your child's special day more special! Discovery Place Birthday Parties Flight Simulator Birthday Party.........$125 Includes use of the Flight Simulator for 2 hours. Includes admission for up to 20 people (children and adults). Includes 2 hour use of classroom area for cake and other refreshments. Refreshments and party favors are not provided.  We require 2 adult chaperones for every 10 children.  Chaperones are expected to help enforce the rules of the museum. $3.00 per extra person (child or adult). Standard Birthday Party Rental........................$75 Includes admission for up to 20 people (children and adults). Includes 2 hour use of classroom area for cake and other refreshments. Refreshments and party favors are not provided.  We require 2 adult chaperones for every 10 children.  Chaperones are expected to help enforce the rules of the museum. $3.00 per extra person (child or adult).   Payment: A deposit of $40.00 is required two weeks prior to the scheduled party.  The remaining fee must be paid no later than the day of the party.  Make checks payable to the Texarkana Museums System (or TMS).  Parties will not be allowed to proceed without payment of deposit two weeks prior. General Event Rental Fees Security deposit...................................$200 Facility Rental fee................................$400 Fee includes use of the building for up to four hours.  $50 per hour for every hour after that.  If all conditions of the rental contract are met, the security deposit will be refunded.
